FAQ
Here are some good tips when renting a house for an extended period of time.
Waste sorting is now required in all Danish municipalities – however, we often find that it is not followed in these houses. Therefore, we urge that waste be sorted according to regulations, as otherwise, it will not be collected by the waste truck. If sorting is not followed, we will be forced to impose a fee for waste disposal.
At the end of your rental, we kindly ask that you vacate the house by 10:00 AM CEST on the day of departure. The house should be left in a tidy condition, with waste disposed of and, if applicable, sorted according to the instructions in the house. Please remember to record utility consumption. If the house is not vacated by 10:00 AM CEST, we will have to charge a fee for an unproductive trip for our staff.
When you (or your employees) arrive at the house, it is important to read the utility meters according to the consumption form attached to the email with the rental certificate. The house should be checked for any defects or issues, and bed linens should be placed on the beds.
The houses may only be occupied by the number of people specified. Camping trailers or tents may not be set up to accommodate additional overnight guests in the houses. If we discover that there are more people in the houses than agreed upon, a fee will be imposed.
Payment for utilities is required when renting our houses. Therefore, meters should be read upon arrival and again upon departure.
We encourage you to be mindful of the environment by not letting the water run unnecessarily and turning down the heating when airing out the house.
As MOB Erhverv is part of Feriepartner Danmark, we offer "Tryghed Inklusiv" in collaboration with TRYG, which includes both a cancellation and vacation rental insurance.

When staying somewhere for an extended period, you might feel that the furniture could be arranged differently. IF the furniture is moved around, YOU/your housemates MUST put the furniture back in place before departure, as our staff is not permitted to rearrange furniture according to the Danish Working Environment Authority. If the furniture is not returned to its original position, we will have to charge a fee for hiring professional movers.
These houses all have internet access, but we cannot guarantee the speed of the internet in the house. It is often used for streaming games or TV, and the speed may decrease if six people are streaming from their individual computers.
We recommend that you order linen packages for long-term rentals, ideally with a change every week or every two weeks. In some houses, renting linen is mandatory, as specified in the house description. If no bed linens are used in the houses, we will be forced to impose a fee for cleaning/washing the duvets, mattresses, and pillows—or, in extreme cases, for replacing the duvets, mattresses, and pillows.
A linen package, including a pillowcase, duvet cover, fitted sheet, one large towel, one small towel, and a dish towel, costs 130 DKK (€18.00) and must be ordered in advance.
If you rent a house for more than 14 days, we would be happy to arrange a mid-stay cleaning, which includes changing the linen, cleaning the bathroom(s), dusting, and vacuuming. This service is for cleaning only—tidying up and dishwashing are not included. We also expect the house to be tidied so that our staff can clean effectively. The price for the mid-stay cleaning depends on the size of the house—please inquire for a price.
Not all of our houses have space for multiple cars, especially if each person arrives in their own vehicle/company car. Therefore, we ask that you be considerate of the neighbors and park in a way that does not cause any disturbances.
If any damage occurs during your stay, it must be reported to MOB immediately so that the damage can be addressed or repaired during your stay.
Not all of our houses have foreign channels, so we ask that you check this before your arrival. It is not permitted to set up your own antenna/satellite dish.
